قاعدة present continuous

تدل قاعدة present continuous على حدوث شيء مستمر يحدث في زمن المضارع المستمر لفترة زمنية محددة، وتتكون قاعدة المضارع المستمر من Am / Is / Are +v ing، وفي التالي بعض الأمثلة للتوضيح: [1]

• مثال: I am playing football أنا ألعب كرة القدم (أي مستمر في حدث اللعب).
• مثال : She is doing exercise إنها تمارس التمارين (أي مستمرة في حدث الممارسة).
• مثال : They are singing إنهم يغنون (أي مستمرون في حدث الغناء).

تمارين على قاعدة present continuous

يتم استخدام قاعدة المضارع المستمر للدلالة على الأحداث والأفعال التي يتم الاستمرار في القيام بها في الوقت الحاضر، ويتم تكوينها من خلال مجموعة من أفعال المساعدة مثل “is” أو “are” إلى جانب إضافة “ing” في نهاية الفعل الرئيسي، ويُمكن القيام بحل التمارين التالية لاكتشاف ما إذا كان قد تم فهم القاعدة بصورة صحيحة بواسطة التحقق من نموذج الإجابة الوارد بعد كل تمرين: [2]
أولًا: املأ الفراغات بصيغة المضارع المستمر للأفعال التالية:

• I _____ to watch a movie at Inox. (go)
• We ___ in the nearby park. (play)
• The boys ____ in the pond. (swim)
• Rita ____ at the function. (sing)
• The child ____ baseball. (play)
• The chef ____ his famous ravioli. (cook)
• The teacher ____ the students. (teach)
• I ____ Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. (read)
• The man ____ a Royal Enfield. (ride)
• Sheema ____ for her dance performance. (practise)
• The boys ___ everyone present at the party. (annoy)
• My mother ____ a sweater for my sister. (knit)
• The man ___ on the streets. (beg)
• The baby ___ with her mother. (giggle)
• Ronaldo ___ his team. (train)

نموذج الإجابة

• I am going to watch a movie at Inox. (go)
• We are playing in the nearby park. (play)
• The boys are swimming in the pond. (swim)
• Rita is singing at the function. (sing)
• The child is playing baseball. (play)
• The chef is cooking his famous ravioli. (cook)
• The teacher is teaching the students. (teach)
• I am reading Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. (read)
• The man is riding a Royal Enfield. (ride)
• Sheema is practising for her dance performance. (practise)
• The boys are annoying everyone present at the party. (annoy)
• My mother is knitting a sweater for my sister. (knit)
• The man is begging on the streets. (beg)
• The baby is giggling with her mother. (giggle)
• Ronaldo is training his team. (train)

ثانيًا: حول الجمل التالية إلى زمن المضارع المستمر:

• He goes to play in the park.
• COVID affects our lungs.
• I ate a cheeseburger.
• The Prime Minister will visit the school.
• Ram walks to school.
• The mason was building this tower.
• Riya spoke at the inter-school competition.
• The wrestlers fought hard.
• The cuckoo sings beautifully.
• Prerna left for Dubai.
• I cleaned my room.
• We bought a new car.
• Anurag plays the guitar.
• You went in the wrong direction.
• I did a new project.

نموذج الإجابة

• He is going to play in the park.
• COVID is affecting our lungs.
• I am eating a cheeseburger.
• The Prime Minister is visiting the school.

دلائل المضارع المستمر

لكل قاعدة من قواعد اللغة الإنجليزية هناك بعض الكلمات الدالة أو (الدلائل) عليها، وكذلك الأمر مع قاعدة المضارع المستمر (Present Continuous)، وهي:

• Now
• Look
• Listen
• At the moment

وكلها دلائل يتم استخدمها من أجل للتعبير عن زمن المضارع المستمر، إذ يُشير استخدام تلك الكلمات إلي ان تلك الجملة تقع ضمن قاعدة المضارع المستمر، كما في المثال:

• مثال : We Are working now (أي) نحن نعمل الآن.
• مثال : look!! The Bus is coming (أي) انظر !! الحافلة تقترب.

جمل عن المضارع المستمر السؤال

في زمن المضارع المستمر عندما يتم السؤال نجد أنه يتكون من Am / Is / Are + subject + Verb + Ing، ويتم الإجابة عليه إما بـ yes /no، وفي التالي بعض الجمل عن المضارع المستمر السؤال: [3]

• Am I reading a book right now?
• Is he speaking on the phone with your teacher?
• Is the baby still crying?
• Is the dog eating his food now?
• Are we cooking together at this moment?
• Are they sleeping yet?

ومن الممكن السؤال في زمن المضارع البسيط بإحدى أدوات الاستفهام، كالتالي:

• Where is he going?
• Where’s she traveling to?
• How are getting to the store?
• Why are the buses running late?
• What is my dog eating?
• What’s the policeman saying?
• What are those kids playing with?
• Where are my children hiding?
• How’s your new phone working?

امثلة على present continuous

يُمكن القول بإن قاعدة المضارع المستمر (present continuous)، يتم استخدامها بصورة يومية، وبدرجة كبيرة، إذ أنها تُعبر عن الأفعال والأحداث التي ما زالت تحدث حتى الوقت الحالي وما زالت مستمرة، وفي التالي بعض الأمثلة على قاعدة المضارع المستمر:

• We’re all riding camels and the sun’s shining.
• They’re waiting for me to get off the phone!
• I am writing articles on different topics.
• He is reading various kinds of books.
• They are playing football now.
• She is drinking coffee.
• He is going to the library.
• We are watching a movie in this Cineplex.
• You are shopping in that market.
• I am listening to melodious songs.
• He is traveling around the world.
• They are playing cricket in that field.
• The poet is writing romantic poems.
• The lyricist is writing realistic songs.
• Are you listening to realistic songs?
• I am not quarreling with you.
• Are you coming to our home?
• I am helping him to do the task.
• My mom is cooking beef with cabbage.
• We are coming for shopping in this market.
• Are you watching cricket on television?
• I am singing different kinds of songs, especially modern.
• I’m just uploading some photos to Facebook and I’m sending a message to Billie.
